How is my actual bill calculated?+
Every day we track your real infrastructure usage across 5 categories: compute (simulation runs), storage (PostgreSQL bytes), bandwidth (file transfers + WebSocket), 3rd-party API calls (Forge, Veras), and hosting amort. At month end, we sum it all and multiply by 2. If you're on a yearly plan, we divide $330 by 12 and apply that as your monthly credit against actual usage.
What's the $5 minimum floor?+
Even dormant accounts cost us money to keep running — the database is still there, the service is still up. So we charge a $5/mo minimum regardless of actual usage. Active users effectively pay $0 for hosting since it amortizes across their simulation and storage costs.
What happens if my usage is very high?+
If total monthly infrastructure cost across all users hits $150/mo, our system automatically triggers a cost optimization analysis. We identify the top cost driver and generate engineering tasks to reduce it by 5-10×. You'll be notified of any changes that affect your billing. You always have the right to cancel if the model doesn't work for you.
Can I see my real-time cost?+
Yes — sign in and visit your account dashboard. You'll see a live month-to-date cost breakdown by category (compute, storage, bandwidth, API, hosting) plus a predicted bill for next month based on your last 3 months of usage.
What if I'm on a yearly plan?+
Yearly plans ($330/yr = $27.50/mo) pre-pay 12 months at a fixed rate. We track your actual usage and apply any credits to your next billing cycle. If your actual monthly cost is lower than $27.50, you keep the surplus. If higher, the difference is absorbed by the yearly discount.
Is the 30-day trial really free?+
Yes — no credit card required to start. You'll only be charged if you choose to continue after the trial ends. During the trial you'll see your actual running cost in your account so there are no surprises.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?+
Yes — cancel anytime via the billing portal. Your subscription holds for 1 year, then your account enters a read-only hold before deletion. Reactivate anytime before deletion at no extra cost.
Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?+
Team collaboration is on the roadmap. For enterprise needs (SSO, dedicated support, custom integrations), contact us at support@atlantist.cloud. Enterprise accounts get a dedicated cost breakdown and custom pricing negotiations based on actual usage patterns.
